Créature for tutors

Lessons, homework and reports around games kids love

A workspace for private tutors teaching kids 5–12: run the lesson, set game homework, and send families a short report afterwards. Here's a look at what we're building.

Your day at a glance

Your next lesson with its plan, today's schedule and a to-do list: reports to finish, homework to review, trial lessons to prepare and packages about to run out.

A tutor's Today screen: the next lesson with Leo and its four steps, today's schedule, a to-do list (a report draft, homework to review, a trial lesson, a package with one lesson left, an overdue invoice) and this week's earnings.

A lesson room with a shared board

A whiteboard you both draw on, the lesson plan step by step with a timer, stars to give, a game to play together, and chat that is copied to parents. Lessons run by video or by phone, and neither side ever sees the other’s number.

The lesson room during a phone lesson with Leo: a whiteboard with Spanish numbers, the lesson's four steps along the top, a masked phone number to dial, buttons to give a star, co-play a game or set homework, and a chat panel.

Reports families actually read

After each lesson you get a draft: what you did, today's win, what to practise at home and what's next. You check every line, and nothing reaches a parent until you approve it.

The wrap-up after Mia's maths lesson: attendance, a drafted session report with what we did, today's win, practise at home, next lesson and a note to the family, and a Send to family checklist.

Homework, reviewed in minutes

Set Créature game levels, a worksheet, reading or writing. Children send their work in; you reply with ready-made feedback and a 1–4 score.

The homework queue: three submissions to review on the left; on the right, Mia's answer to “Draw 3 bags of 4 apples”, a feedback box with suggested phrases, and a score from 1 Beginning to 4 Exceeding.

Goals for every child

Each student has goals with target dates, their homework, and a skills chart from the games they play, so you and the family can see progress over weeks, not just lesson by lesson.

Mia's student page: two goals with progress bars (times tables 70%, chapter books 45%), her homework list, and a skills and growth chart.
